Archive for how to make twitter

A website button helps you build connections with your followers by making it easy to “follow” you on Twitter. Until now, you had to go looking for the graphics on other websites. Finally Twitter has released some official Follow Me and Follow Us buttons.

When you use the links in the paragraph above, be sure you are signed into YOUR Twitter account because when you click on the buttons, it generates the HTML code you will need to put on your blog or website. (I had to be signed in to be able to give you the link, so the code in the link is to follow me).

Using the Twitter official buttons is a bit easier than most of the third party sites since the code is automatically generated. There is a nice variety of button styles as well. Nothing fancy, just different styles.

If you want buttons with more personality, check out the 181 Free Twitter Buttons mentioned by Darrin Rowse on TwiTips. If you are new to Twitter, be sure to poke around over on TwiTips because it is full of great tips for using Twitter.

Welcome to Technophobe Therapy

Posted by: Pamela S. Wynn | Comments (0)

Who Is A Technophobe?
I'm
so glad you asked… I keep hearing experienced solo professionals
like you say, "I
wish I
could get my practice website found." You've heard that you need to have an online presence for your therapy practice, CPA or law office, hair salon… (fill in the blank) but "I'm a Technophobe."

You're not a true Technophobe with a capital T because you use technology like email and online search – or you wouldn't be here now, right?  But you don't know how to do stuff like make a blog and you can't see the point of Twitter. How could tweets bring clients?

If you think it seems impersonal to use online technology, you don't understand what's happened online in the past year. Clients want to get a feel for professionals from their online activities. If they can't find your personality online they'll go to a professional who provides one that they resonate with.

But who has the time for all this stuff when you have a busy practice? Just the thought of blogging or using Twitter or
LinkedIn or You Tube makes you feel like you could fall into a black hole time-wise, doesn't it?
Until last year, I was like that too. But using my 10 minute a day strategy has catapulted my practice.

That's right. Confronting my own technology fears
transformed my law practice so much in the past year, that I can use words like catapulted. Now I want to show you
how it can catapult your practice and attract your Dream Clients. And you can do with a 10 minute a day strategy so you have time to live your life.

I'm not kidding, this technology stuff really is easy. You CAN do it in just 4 weeks if you have a little therapy along the way. Even if you don't have a website today.

What Is Technophobe Therapy?
Technophobe Therapy is a multi-pronged approach to

  • Easing your anxiety about using technology
  • Providing a strategy to grow your practice & effectively use your time
  • Promoting your practice online so your website can get found.

You can start participating right now with this blog by reading and commenting on posts. Include your website url with your comment and start building your links today. We'll be providing self-help here on the blog.

Starting October 27th you can participate in a 5 week group therapy program from the comfort of your home or office so that you can easily develop your online practice presence. By the end of therapy you'll have a blog and a client attraction magnet for your site.

It's a lot of transformation, but we'll go step-by-step, hands-on. That's right, this is "experiential therapy." You'll be blogging and using the social networks, like Twitter and LinkedIn to promote your practice after only a month.

It's THAT easy. And so that you're sure to attract great clients (I like to call them Dream Clients), along the way you'll clarify who your Dream Clients are and the unique solution you provide to them. And in just 4 short weeks you'll be ready to reposition your practice using technology.

Who Needs Technophobe Therapy?
Technophobe
Therapy is designed for experienced solo professionals – therapists, lawyers,
accountants, coaches, real estate or insurance brokers – who want to grow a practice and get more
clients with online technology as your partner, not your anxiety
trigger.

You want effective methods and strategies so you don't end up spending all your free time on the computer. So just stick around and see for yourself. Even if you're a technophobe, you can reposition your practice and get more clients using technology. And it doesn't take all your time, either.

If you get my Special Report, I'll let you know when enrollment for Technophobe Therapy opens.
